Since 2007, KRAFTJUNGS has been the lead agency for brand and corporate communication for DJO Global Germany in Freiburg, the main location for the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets. Over the years, the thoughtful team at KRAFTJUNGS has guided DJO through several transformative changes and developments, with the most significant being in 2022.

From DJO to Enovis: A New Era with Unified Innovation

The merger of DJO with its former parent company, Colfax, gave rise to Enovis – a new medical technology company that innovatively combines DJO’s over 40 years of experience in orthopedics and medical technology with Colfax’s technological expertise. Enovis is now powered by the best of both worlds, offering healthcare professionals and patients around the globe a new world of transformative, forward-looking possibilities. This includes digital therapy solutions, new areas of application in human medicine, and innovative concepts in the veterinary field.

KRAFTJUNGS was entrusted with the task of conveying the transformation from DJO to Enovis to the primary target audiences, including doctors, physiotherapists, and medical retailers, at the right time with the right message. This included maintaining the strong connection of the target audiences to DJO, which had earned high trust in the German-speaking healthcare market through its high-quality, diverse range of orthopedic aids, physical therapy solutions, and outstanding services. To preserve this trust while paving the way for the launch of Enovis, KRAFTJUNGS focused on the core essence: Enovis’s brand essence.

From this strong brand essence, KRAFTJUNGS, in close collaboration with Enovis DACH in Freiburg, crafted a coherent brand story: from the new corporate design to the new corporate tagline and the values, visuals, and messages, it is clear that Enovis is not an artificially created novelty, but a natural evolution of DJO.

With the brand story, KRAFTJUNGS launched the introduction of a new brand that is consistent, recognizable, and relevant across all communication channels and in all previously implemented communication materials. Whether at a trade show booth, in product or image brochures, or on the website – the target audiences can not only accompany the transformation from DJO to Enovis from the very beginning but are also made aware that the new world of transformative possibilities created by Enovis revolves around them.
